In my work, I explore the emotional aspects of an MRI scan. Inspired by a personal experience, I began collecting the thoughts and feelings of other patients in order to simultaneously examine medical power structures and routines.

An MRI scan can affect emotional well-being in many ways. Patients often experience fears and insecurities that must be dealt with. At the same time, some people are fascinated by the technology or find the procedure relaxing. Preparation and support during the procedure are particularly important. This raises the question of whether patients have been adequately informed and supported. These topics form the core of my thesis project.

Through interviews with patients, I have captured their individual stories and perspectives to give them a voice. Through this artistic approach, I aim to raise awareness of the emotional aspects of medical examinations so that patients can be seen as people with feelings and needs.

The exhibition invites visitors to question and rethink their personal and social perspectives on medical reality.
